Meet the amazing, phenomenal Ms. Oluwakorede, also known as Obaniri of Naija land, the visionary behind Africhella Tourz. It all started during the pandemic while sitting in front of her laptop watching a YouTube video by her mentor Dr. Harnet Bokrezion, the founder of Africa Business Jumpstart. She wanted to partake in the untold stories of Africa and look for strategic ways of doing business that yield great results. Ms. Korede has always loved traveling to other countries, but especially African countries, which hold a special place in her heart. Her mission is to encourage, enlighten and inspire millions of Caribbeans, Latinos and African Americans to travel and invest in the motherland. She believes the media has created a lot of false narratives about the continent. “Africa is just as beautiful as Paris, Dubai or London. Which continent do you know to have natural resources such as gold, diamonds, oil and palm nut?” she would say. Ms. Korede spent several years doing a study and researching exactly what individuals might find interesting and memorable during their visit to another country. By the year 2030, Africa will become the “main attraction for everyone”. Her dream is to meet her celebrity crush, popular rapper, Nas, and offer him a tour to an African country.
